Day 01: Bangkok – Sukhothai
Depart Bangkok, for the ancient capital of Siam, Sukhothai, and the first World Heritage stop. On arrival, transfer to hotel. After lunch visit Sri Satchanalai Historical Park. Overnight in Sukhothai.

Day 02: Sukhothai – Luang Prabang
After breakfast return to Sukhothai Historical Park for another visit transfer to the airport after an early lunch board a flight to Luang Prabang, the ancient capital of the “Land of a million Elephants” Tansfer to hotel on arrival. In the late afternoon after brief orientation tour of the spiritual capital of Laos, climb the steps to the top of Mount Phousi to enjoy a panoramic view of the city and the surroundings. Early evening attend a Baci ceremony, mixing Animism and Buddhism beliefs. The ceremony is followed by a traditional dinner with a Lao Family. Overnight in Luang Prabang. (B, D)

Day 03: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou – Luang Prabang
For early-risers there is a very special optional dawn visit to witness the long lines of orange-robed monks leaving their pagodas to receive offerings of food from Luang Prabang residents. Return to hotel. After breakfast, take a half-day boat trip on the Mekong River to visit the mysterious Pak Ou Caves housing thousands of Buddha statues. After lunch at a local restaurant, return to Luang Prabang; visit the National Museum and Vat Xieng Thong Temple, night in Luang Prabang. (B, L)

Day 04: Luang Prabang – Danang – Hoi An
After breakfast visit Luang Prabang market and Vat Visun before transferring to the airport for the short Siem Reap Airways flight to Danang in central Vietnam. On arrival in Danang transfer by road to the historic town of Hoi An via the Cham Museum and the Marble Mountain. Transfer to hotel on arrival in Hoi An before taking a walking tour of the town center visiting the former merchants homes, the 400 year old Japanese covered bridge and the colorful market. Overnight in Hoi An. (B)

Day 05: Hoi An – Danang - Hue
After breakfast leave Hoi An for Hue by road via the senic Pass of Ocean Clouds. On arrival in Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam, take a boat trip on the romantically named Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda. Continue by road to the imperial Citadel and the elaborate mausoleums of emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. Overnight in Hue. (B)

Day 06: Hue – Danang – Siem Reap
After breakfast at the hotel transfer back to Danang airport by road to take the early after noon Siem Reap Airways flight to Siem Reap. Arrival and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap. (B)

Day 07: Siem Reap
A full day to explore the fabled temples of Angkor including the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the Bayon, the terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King. Continue to Angkor Wat in the after noon before watching the sunset from Phnom Bakheng. Overnight in Siem Reap. (B)

Day 08: Siem Reap – Bangkok
After breakfast visit the floating village of Chong Khneas and take a traditional wooden boat out on Tonle Sap, Cambodia’s great lake. The after noon is at leisure before transferring to Siem Reap airport for the early flight to Bangkok. (B)
