The 64 km long Makarska Riviera, stretching from Brela in the north, to Gradac in the south, is one of the most beautiful parts of the Croatian coast. At the foot of the mountain Biokovo there are pearls of numerous charming sandy beaches. Along the Riviera are small picturesque holiday resorts, the most famous of them is Brela. “With head in the shadow , with belly in the sun and with feet in the water” said once one of the numerous tourists to the Riviera. This is quite true for the Makarska Riviera. Here, the nature is absolutely magnificent: a forest on the hills of the Biokovo mountain and crystal water on sandy beaches.

Day 01:
Arrival in Zaghreb. A guided city tour. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 02:
Following breakfast, bus ride to the national park Plitvice, a famous Croatian national park with 16 lakes bound together by magic waterfalls. Plitvice is something so extraordinary, that only nature could have created it. Croatia’s most popular tourist attraction, Plitvice is visited over and over again by tourists who are thrilled by its magic spells: the song of waterfalls, clear water lakes and thousand rainbows created by the foam of the waterfalls. Designated as one of the most beautiful national parks in the world, Plitvice is protected by UNESCO. Afterwards, a bus ride to the south of Dalmatia. Arrival in the Makarska Riviera. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 03:
Morning bus ride along the Makarska Riviera. A visit to the malacological museum located in a Franciscan monastery in Makarska. Afternoon free time to discover the Riviera individually.

Day 04:
A whole day bus trip to Dubrovnik. This “pearl” of the Adriatic is one of the most important and beautiful monuments of European history on the Mediterranean. City tour wit guide, as well as an opportunity for a walk along the city walls or promenade “Stradun”.

Day 05:
A whole day excursion to the island of Brac or Hvar. Brac is the third biggest island on the Adriatic. With the highest mountain of all islands, Brac is famous for its stone which has been used to build numerous well known buildings. The best known is the “White House” in Washington. Hvar is an island with the mildest climate on the Adriatic. It is famous with its lavender which grows on its fields.

Day 06:
A whole day bus trip to Medugorje. In this little village situated in the hills of Hercegowina on 4 June 1981, six children saw St Mary. Since then, millions of pilgrims have visited Medugorje.

Day 07:
A bus ride along the coast to Split and Sibenik and further on to Opatija. Dinner and overnight.

Day 08:
After breakfast, transfer to airport and flight to your next destination.
