Madinat Jumeirah
Set in the captivating beach resort of Madinat Jumeirah, Six Senses Spa is truly an escape from Dubai’s rat race culture. Quite literally, it’s an awakening of the senses. Here, one has the choice to experience true relaxation – and those who are extra sensitive to the ethereal world might be lucky enough to journey on some enlightening experience. With five star hotels sprouting about Dubai like a contagious plague, spas have been mushrooming alongside offering almost every specialty of holistic therapy. But when it comes to standing out, you have to give it to the Six Senses – a brand that stretches from the exotic islands of the Maldives to the enchanting culture of Thailand. In fact, the Dubai based spa was recently ranked among the world’s top 25 spas by author of Great Spa Escapes Jo Foley, who has been visiting spas over 20 years. Amid semi – tropical gardens lined with bamboo, palm trees, frangipani and hibiscus flowers and bordered by gently flowing waterways, the spa ambience is soothing and serene. The spa is further enhanced by an interior scheme of earthy warm tone and velvety fabrics to offer comfortable surroundings.
